This blog is about making words physical: artist’s books, book structures and bindings, typography, letterpress, printmaking & other ways of reproducing words and pictures, papermaking, experiments with the printed word. Among other meanings, The Word Made Flesh is an artist’s book made by Johanna Drucker, which I studied a few years ago & found really inspiring. One day, I will own a copy.
I am Moira Clunie. I’m interested in book structures and bindings, printing and playing with the traditions and possibilities in the print format. I make zines, artist’s books and other objects involving paper and/or words. I live amongst typewriters, bookshelves and piles of interesting old paper.
