The pixel archive: consummated press

Collage of images from consummated press books

Another retired project of mine is consummated press, an imprint under which I published a few small artist’s books between 2001 and 2006. I’ve just finished making a page about it here, and tidying up related photos on Flickr.

I still have a few copies of the fifth book, blink, left: get in touch if you’d like to own one.

Retired zines and consolidated blogs

Yesterday, I made a new page on this blog for woven zine, a tiny literary anthology I used to edit. After six issues and many years, I decided recently to stop talking about how I might make another issue one day, and put the project to rest. I still have a few copies of the last three issues left – if you’d like one, write me a letter: Moira/ P O Box 7754/ Wellesley Street/ Auckland/ New Zealand.

I’ve deleted the old woven zine blog as well – I want this place to be the main archive and record of my publishing projects, including my old zines, so I figured it made sense to merge the two. Over the next few weeks, I’m planning to add information about my other old zine, book and print-related projects, and maybe some details about what I’m working on currently.

cutout words

Baudelaire, originally uploaded by hinaaoyama1.

Hina Aoyama is a Japanese paper artist living in France. The picture above is a piece of Baudelaire’s writing, hand-cut with scissors. Amazing.

See more of her work on Flickr: more Baudelaire, close-up, Voltaire, butterflies and words.
